Phillippi Baptist Church
Phillippi Baptist Church is a Missionary Baptist Church.
Phillippi was founded, as the Elizabethton Colored Baptist Church, in 1867 by Mr. Horace Leftwich. Phillippi is affiliated with the Bethel District Baptist Missionary and Education Association and the Tennessee
Baptist Missionary and Education Convention, Inc. Phillippi has Mission Ministries
that include a Food Pantry, a Prison Ministry and a Melting Pot Ministry (Feeding the Hungry once monthly).
The Auxiliary

which consists of a Mass Choir, Male Chorus and a Youth Choir that includes all children and youth.
